About Us 

In view of the petrochemical industry's rapid expansion with new world-scale petrochemical facilities being put in place, both by the producers as well as the downstream fabricators, there was an increasing need to form an organisation which would oversee the interests of the various related groups in the industry.

The Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA) was officially formed on March 19, 1997 and it is a formal association registered with the Registrar of Societies, Malaysia.
